Tasting Notes
Intense, dark garnet red. Very intense and dense nose with lots of dark berry fruit, blackberries, elderberries and plums, some licorice in the background. Round and supple in the attack, builds up in many layers, wonderfully ripe fruit, then unfortunately quite emphasized wood spice in the back, a decidedly "modern", soft Barolo.
