The red wine Conca Barolo DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Ratti has been rated in 2012 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright intense ruby colour, with a light garnet rim. Complex and intense nose, ripe fruit, plum and blackberry, some leather and hazelnut in the background. Vivid and full on the palate, lots of ripe fruit flavour, opens up with grippy finely meshed tannins, firm and full-bodied on the long finish.
