The white wine »Aux Barres« Pouilly-Loché, vintage 2021 from the winery Domaine Cognard Laurent has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
Dense aroma, lemon zest, mango, pineapple, corn tossed in butter, apple, subtle wood savouriness of caramel, vanilla. On the palate a lot of juiciness and freshness to the volume, clear fruit, fine well-integrated acid vein, everything close together, savouriness in the aftertaste, long on the palate, very good with white meat, roast veal and fried fish.
