The semi-sparkling carbonated wine Phermento Metodo Ancestrale Lambrusco di Sorbara DOP Secco, vintage 2022 from the winery Medici Ermete has been rated in 2024 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lambrusco from the region Emilia-Romagna in Italy.
Bright cherry red with a persistent mousse. Reminiscent of dark bread crust, blueberries and blackberries on the nose. On the palate with clear berry fruit and pleasantly fine-grained mousse, almost foamy. Taut with crisp acidity, shows subtle tannins and plenty of juice on the finish, medium length.
