The prosecco Etichetta Bianca Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Dry, vintage 2023 from the winery Fratelli Gatto Cavalier has been rated in 2024 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Glera from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright silver-grey with numerous pearls. Reductive on the nose, opens on pome fruit, yellow meadow flowers and pepper, with a slight hazelnut aftertaste. A ripe fruit component on the palate, reminiscent of fruit gum and malt coffee, with a subtle mousse that unfortunately flattens out a little at the back.
