The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Montosoli DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Altesino has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby with fine garnet shimmer. Very clear, appealing nose of fresh, ripe cherries, some dried orange peel and cloves. Blossoms well on the palate, very well worked out, vivid fruit, fresh cherry, opens with a lot of fine-meshed tannin, builds up for a long time.
