The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Altesino has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Ripe cherry and ripe strawberry on the nose, then light leather, butter cookies, violet. On the palate it shows with polish and finesse, it is hearty and vibrant, slightly salty tannin accompanies the course, then a little gruelling on the finish.
