The red wine Lavinia Maria IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Argentiera has been rated in 2014 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Trousseau from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark, rich ruby purple colour. Very compact nose with intense dark berry fruit, blackberries and blueberries, underpinned by rich liquorice. Present, fine-grained tannins on the palate, builds up in many layers, with a rich liquorice and plum aftertaste, really blossom again after a longer period of aeration.
