The red wine Argentiera DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Argentiera has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby colour with purple hints. Very intense and appealing nose of cassis, blackberry, some leather and dried plums remaining very fresh. Very full-bodied palate and rich in the attack with lots of dark berries and vivid, densely woven tannins that build with nicely integrated fine fruit. Tobacco and cassis through the long finish.
