The red wine Ventaglio Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Argentiera has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red. Fine savoury nose, notes of red bell pepper, white pepper, clove, of cassis and fresh elderberry. On the palate it is very juicy and shows with a fresh fruit core, underpinned by fine savouriness, shows polished, velvety tannin in many layers, spans a fine arc overall, finishes elegantly and slightly salty on the finish.
