The sparkling wine Arunda Cuvée Marianna Extra Brut from the winery Arunda has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Blauburger from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Pale straw yellow, fine, persistent perlage. Intense, finely drawn nose with notes of mirabelle plums, some pineapple, ripe apple and butter cookies. Round and smooth on the palate, full-bodied, beautifully ripe fruit, creamy and with a long finish.
