The sekt Cuvée Marianna Südtiroler Sekt DOP Extra Brut from the winery Arunda has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Südt. Blauburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, brilliant straw yellow. Strikingly fragrant on the nose, citrus fruit, elderflower, with fine yeasty notes and hints of spruce needles on the finish. Juicy, clear on the palate, with well-integrated mousse, shows a certain lightness, easy to drink, flattens out a little at the back, delicately bitter finish.
