Its bouquet takes no prisoners: "exuberant" is the right word. Smells of chocolate truffles, pickled blackberries and cherries. Some smoke, cinnamon and nutmeg are added. Wonderfully merciless on the palate: concentrated, yet freshly acidic and full-bodied. Dried tomatoes, peppers. A gustatory staccato. Buckle up, please!
