The red wine 50&50 Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Avignonesi has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour, shimmering. Fine hints of mint, cranberries and stewed cherries on the nose, underpinned by a fine layer of dark savouriness. Polished, juicy on the palate, with pronounced fruit and very well-integrated acidity, spreads across well, firm drive on the finish.
