Tasting Notes
Elderberry and oaky toastiness are equally vivid on the nose, underneath there are notions of smokiness, ripe cherry and peony. The palate is slender but smooth, made subtly richer by judicious oak that allows the ripeness and lushness of the cherry notions to shine. All is backed up by a vivid spine of English freshness. Lovely now, but will benefit from two to three years of bottle age.
