This pale-hued rosé comes with a vivid nose of tart red berry: almost like redcurrant coulis with a bit of crushed strawberry thrown in. An unusual, smooth creaminess then informs the palate, the result of most subtle oak-ageing, that sits so well with the bright and very English freshness of this wine. Unusual, gastronomic, refreshing and absolutely appetising.
