The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Baricci has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep ruby red. Lots of dark berries on the nose, ripe blackcurrants, elderberries and cassis, balsamic tones on the finish. Emphatically dark fruity and rich on the palate, warm, grippy tannins, slightly salty, strong drive on the finish.
