The red wine Nello Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Baricci has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby. Very intense and clear nose of rosewood, some violet leaves and lots of preserved cherries, exciting. Characterised by grippy, multi-layered tannins on the palate, builds richly, with notes of dark fruit, builds for a long time, firm drive on the finish.
