Tasting Notes
Strong red with brownish reflections of maturity. Mature bouquet, which you have to get involved with, menthol, undergrowth, but also lovage and vegetable bouillon. Ripe attack on the palate, medium-bodied, present acidity, ripe tannins, a hint of wood, distinctive sweetness of age. Long, slightly bitter finish. A somewhat controversial wine in view of its clear signs of ageing.
