The red wine Brunello di Montalcino, vintage 2012 from the winery Belpoggio has been rated in 2017 by Kiem, Othmar with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling ruby with a fine garnet rim. Pronounced and intense nose of blackberries and preserved cherries, some cloves. Juicy and supple on the attack and on the palate, with beautiful fruit and firm, substantial tannins on the finish.
