The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Belpoggio has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, luminous ruby red with a flint core. Very fresh on the nose at first with juicy cherries, rich plums and a slightly animalistic aftertaste. Then very juicy on the palate, emphasising the plumy nuances, it flows beautifully over the tongue, showing character, fine texture with round tannins.
