The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Belpoggio has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby red color. In the nose of liquorice, coffee powder, blackberry, in the background candle wax. On the palate some loosely knit tannin, dark fruit, also juicy, remains in the aftertaste, however, tannic and drying finish.
