Tasting Notes
Deep crimson, ochre reflections, broad rim brightening. Spicy, some Macchia shrub, red berries, preserved cherry, bouquet clearly characterised by Sangiovese, blackberry in the background, attractive and with a clear regional identity. Juicy, elegant and fresh, ripe cherry, well-integrated tannins, fine Vieilles Vignes character, taut and persistent, salty and long, good further ageing potential. (drink / +10).
More about the tastingBright ruby colour. Somewhat restrained fruit, slightly reminiscent of cherry and blackberry, appears restrained. Then blossom beautifully on the palate, gripping, savoury tannin, very juicy, builds up in many layers, fun, salty on the finish.
