Strong ruby garnet with ochre-coloured reflections and broad rim brightening. A hint of liquorice, red heart cherries, lime zest and tangerine peel on the nose, with some herbal aromatics. It's taut and elegant on the palate, with a core of ripe cherries wrapped in fine tannins. The palate sticks well, with a fine fruit sweetness in the finish and a hint of lime and cassis on the aftertaste. Has reached first drinking maturity, and makes for a very animating food companion.
