The red wine Sapor, vintage 2009 from the winery Bio Weingut Zahel has been rated in 2013 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties St. Laurent, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Vienna in Austria.
Deep, dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Aromas of dark fruits of the forest confit, underlaid with subtle coconut notes, hints of oak, caramel and spice. On the palate, juicy, blackberry-cherry confit, vivid tannins that still need some time and a mineral finish. Will benefit from bottle ageing.
