The white wine Chasselas »König Ludwig« trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Bioweingut Missbach has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gutedel from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose, lots of yeast, unusual floral aromas with a hints of rhubarb and blood orange. On the palate, the wine builds into a contrast of a smooth background with dense, yet fine phenolics giving and intense experience that finishes with firm acidity and powerful tactile minerality.
