The white wine »Orange« Traminer, vintage 2022 from the winery Bioweingut Weinreuter has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Traminer
Pale yellow colour with red reflections, cloudy. On the nose, the wine has peppery notes, hints of orange confit, yeast and lilac. The palate has an almost oily base, rolling out a very finely resolved tannin impression, the ripe (yet well concentrated) acidity reinforces the impression of roundness and fullness. The finish is more candied citrus fruit than floral.
