Tasting from 01.12.2017: Ulrich Sautter

Nuanced herbal savouriness, thyme, salt, liquorice. In the background fresh black cherry. All very clear while exuding naturalness. Soft, almost sweet approach, then a tannic drive of immensely fine tannin, viscous and chalky-mineral underpinnings, and length building above with substance, juice and fruit. Alcohol seamlessly countered by the extract. Stylish wine, youthful.

More about the tasting

Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Ripe fruit nuances, underpinned by delicate smoky notes of new wood, delicate hints of blackberries and dark cherries. Medium complexity on the palate, fresh and lively structure, hints of red berries, offers uncomplicated drinking pleasure.
