The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Borgo La Stella has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, flint ruby with a light garnet shimmer. Open and accessible nose with lots of ripe plum fruit, behind dried porcini mushrooms. Gripy, hearty tannin on the palate, firm and sturdy.
