The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Borgo La Stella has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful ruby with a light garnet shimmer. Opens on the nose with herbaceous-spicy notes of cardamom, in the background some cherry. On the palate a lot of juicy fruit, a lot of cherry, some cranberry, grippy, fine tannin, firm drive on the finish.
