The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Bovio has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a touch of brightening on the rim. Fragrant nose, lots of fruit, savoury and floral notes, raspberries, black pepper and hibiscus. Structured and elegant on the palate, intense fruit notes, a vibrant acidity, gripping tannins, animated, with savoury herbs on the long finish.
