The smoky nose holds the merest touch of liquorice. The palate comes in with crunch, with contour, with freshness and concentration. There is structure here and quite profound fruit, again that ripe, red cherry outlines with the aroma of liquorice. A lovely and bold Pinot with much crunch, juiciness and real length. Lovely.
