Der Avarone ist unsere Ehrerbietung an den Amarone. Anders als beim Amarone verwenden wir ausschliesslich Diolinoir-Trauben. Diese werden vor dem Keltern sehr stark und lange getrocknet. Dadurch verdichtet und intensiviert sich das Aroma. Trotz seiner Eigenwilligkeit überzeugt er mit seinem zugänglichen Charakter, hat ein süsses Bouquet und einen hohen Grad an Komplexität.

Dark ruby red with purple reflections. Very ripe on the nose with dark fruited cassis, dried plum and lilac, with some pear cordial and a dark spiciness in the background. It's quite lush and sweet on the palate and doesn't major on structure. The acidity balances ripe blackberry and lilac notes in the aftertaste.
