Die Linie MAXIMUS findet ihre Inspiration in einer der renommiertesten Weinbauregionen der Welt, wo die Kunst des Assemblierens gelebt wird wie nirgendwo anders auf der Welt - im Bordeaux. Seit mehreren Jahrzehnten widmen wir uns aus Überzeugung dem reinsortigen Weinbau, um jeder Rebsorte die Eigenheit zu entlocken. Mit MAXIMUS geben wir uns die Aufgabe, Rebsorten, welche aus dem Bordeaux bekannt aber im Wallis inzwischen ihre Daseinsberechtigung unter Beweis gestellt haben, in der Form zu vermählen, damit etwas Grosses entsteht. MAXIMUS Red verbindet die Rasse und Finesse des Cabernet Franc mit der Dichte und Schönheit eines Merlots. Wir finden, eine Vereinigung, die den höchsten Ansprüchen eines Wein-Enthusiasten genügen wird und somit eine ehrvolle, respektvolle Verbeugung vor unseren Kollegen aus dem Bordeaux darstellt.

Ripe berry fruit with notes of blueberries, blackberries, elderberries and plums, with spicy, peppery notes and nuances of allspice. Ripe, but very clear. Smooth and intense on the palate with dark berry and spice nuances. Slippery, fine tannins, ripe acidity. Finishes long.

Notes of dark forest berries, cherry and ripe plum on the nose. There are also savoury hints of allspice and lovage. Soft and supple on the palate, with ripe acidity and flavours of dark wild berries and plum. Fine tannins, long finish.
