An der für Varner Verhältnisse doch eher lehmigen Lage genannt "Kliibe" auf einer Parzelle von 1508 m2 wachsen die Blauburgunder Trauben für diesen exzellenten Pinot Noir. Die Süd-West Ausrichtung mit starker Mittagsonne und langer Abend Besonnung ermöglicht eine frühe Ernte und bilden die Grundlage für sehr reife und breite Fruchtaromen ohne Kompromisse in der Frische machen zu müssen. Alle Weine aus der Linie CÄSAR weisen ein grosses Lagerpotential auf.

Notes of blackcurrant confit, raspberry and sour cherry on the nose. Also nuances of liquorice and black pepper. Clear fruit on the palate with raspberry and sour cherry, juicy acidity and ripe tannins. Elegant and gluggable.
