The red wine Pietro Dal Cero Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2011 from the winery Ca' dei Frati has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Croatina from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red. Fragrant nose of milk chocolate, ripe red fruits, underpinned by fine wood savouriness. Dense and magnificent on the palate, very polished tannin with tightly woven structure, spreads gently, then in the secondary gripping, a "modern" Amarone with a long finish.
