The red wine Aria di Caiarossa IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Caiarossa has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Very rich ruby with garnet. Opens with very balsamic notes on the nose, Mediterranean herbs, spices, rich ripe berries and cherries, slight leathery and bacon notes, multi-layered, strong and vivid. On the palate, it's minty, gentle and soft, showing excellently integrated tannin, creamy in texture, also juicy, driven and very harmonious.
