Brilliant, rich ruby garnet. Compact, dense nose, initially a hint of licorice, then lots of ripe plums and blackberries, inviting. Tight and dense on the attack and on the palate, shows a lot of present but fine tannin at the core, unfolds as if from a single mold, beautiful fresh fruit on the finish, salty.
