The white wine Stoan DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Kellerei Tramin has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Weißburgunder, Gewürztraminer from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Brilliant greenish yellow. Intense and clear nose, aromas of mirabelle plums, nectarines, some sage, fine nutty notes in the background. Creamy and dense on the palate, builds up beautiful pressure, also fills the palate full at the back, with a finish of tree-ripened apple and some caramel.
