The red wine Marchesana 14 Primitivo Gioa del Colle DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Cantine Polvanera has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
Dark ruby red with light garnet reflections. On the nose the plum notes are dominant at the beginning, then cherries with tobacco and liquorice, glycine, nutty notes from the wood. In the mouth vegetal, primrose tannin still very vivid and a long coffee finish.
