The red wine Nicco Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Capanna has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a delicately brightening rim. Nose of fine orange, ripe cranberry, raspberry, fine leather savouriness on the finish. On the palate it shows with grippy tannins, well-integrated oak, shows good tension and delicate juice, then unfortunately becomes somewhat drying on the finish.
