The red wine Tespero Syrah Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Carus has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, glistening ruby red. Initially malty on the nose, then some dark chocolate, pickled forest fruits and very ripe plum notes emerge. On the palate there's some vivid wood-derived tannin, pithy fruit and a powerful finish. Made in a compact, modern style, it's always harmonious.
