Tasting from 14.02.2021: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Dark, bright ruby red. Initially malty on the nose, then milk chocolate, new wood, butter cookie and very ripe cherry, a hint of shoe polish on the finish. Opens up on the palate with very dense tannins, full-bodied, flows gently over the tongue, with a persistent finish.

Elegant, dark shining ruby. On the nose ripe fruit, already balsamic, cranberry jam, wood and pepper. On the palate vivid acidity, spreads densely, gripping tannin which dries up easily.
