The red wine Baldero Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Carus has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Chianti in Italy.
Bright ruby red with orange-coloured rim accents. Opens on sweet spicy notes, cardamom wrapped in orange peel and dark chocolate, with a hint of black cherry. Juicy on the palate, shows clear cherry fruit, animating on the palate, with fine tannins, hearty on the finish, shows beautiful flow.
