The red wine Lazzarito Barolo DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Casa E. di Mirafiore has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby-garnet color. Complex nose with notes of roses and truffles, then lots of plum, some leather in the background. Juicy on the palate, shows lots of ripe plum fruit, then opens up with polished tannins, builds up full-bodied, pithy on the finish.
