The port Ferreira Vintage Port DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Casa Ferreirinha has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Franca, Tinta Barocca, Touriga Nacional from the region Douro in Portugal.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, very soft brightening on the rim. Delicate vanilla, hints of mint and candied violets, subtle lavender underpinnings of blackberry fruit. Juicy, ripe plums and figs, soft ethereal notes, vivid, supporting tannins, chocolaty, has good length, mineral finish, promising ageing potential.
