The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova DOCG, vintage 1993 from the winery Casanova di Neri has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby, slightly opaque. Very vivid and rich nose, aromas of raspberries, cherries, ripe but not at all overripe, light sealing wax and liquorice. Juicy on the palate, finely-meshed tannins, fresh acidity, clearly vivid, shows great elegance on the fine and long finish.
