The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova DOCG, vintage 2004 from the winery Casanova di Neri has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, medium ruby. Appealing nose, with delicately defined ripe plum and cherry, and some walnuts. Unfolds with elegant, finely meshed tannins and builds well with plenty of dark chocolate on the finish. The wine has a firm drive with lots of juicy drinkability.
