Clear ruby with soft brightening on the rim. Opens with notes of dark chocolate and pickled cherries, then lots of ripe raspberries, subtle, not too lush. Lots of grippy, hearty tannins on the palate, vivid, spicy-salty components on the back palate, slightly drying on the finish.
More about the tastingRich ruby. Very intense, dense nose, concentrated notes of blackberry, elderberry and cherry jam, with a background of fine dark chocolate. Develops with grippy, gripping tannins, fine fruit melt, spicy notes on the finish.
