Tasting Notes
Clear ruby with garnet rim. Opens with slightly caramel notes, of cherries in alcohol, at the same time seems a little diluted, of dried tomatoes. Shows itself altogether already somewhat matured, dense, grippy tannin, in the finish hearty and gripping, also a little harsh.
More about the tastingBrilliant, rich ruby with garnet shimmer. Shows fine spicy notes of thyme and cardamom in the foreground, followed by lots of ripe fruit, preserved cherries and plums. Dense and full-bodied on the palate, opens with dense, fine-grained tannins, builds up in many layers, develops a powerful body at the back, long finish.
